About
Our Story
On the grounds you will see the Old Mill, which is a converted windmill circa 1750, it was converted to a house in 1968 retaining many of its original features. A subsequent revamp was completed in September 2004 and it now homes the owners and their family.
On the grounds there is a large outdoor seating area including a BBQ and a communal hot-tub which can be used until 9pm. The Old Mill no longer serves breakfast, but we highly recommend several local restaurants including Al Fornos & Manjaros which are around a 5 minute drive.
There are many things to do in the area, a short walk down Leven Bank (5 mins) there is an Alpaca Farm where you can meet the Alpacas. Preston Park & Museum is a short drive and has a beautiful walk along the river, the museum itself and a huge park & skate park.
